Enjoy walks, swimming and surf fishing on the beach. A short drive to the boat launch will have you fishing on the bay in no time. Or never leave the breezy deck which has lots of space for yoga, reading, and games. This house is perfect for all types of vacations - relaxing and adventure seeking!

The incredible beach view is front and center in this home, which features a full wall of windows and two-story high ceilings in the main living area. The open floor plan allows for plenty of space. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining, with granite countertops and bar seating. There is a seating area around the television, a dining table for four with additional bench seating, and an additional bar area. Off the living area is a half bath, with a sink and toilet (no tub or shower).

On the main level, the primary bedroom with queen bed has two-story high ceilings, a television, ample closet space and direct access to the full bathroom.

The second bedroom, with a queen bed and large closet, is also on the main level. A roll-away bed is tucked into this closet and could be used in the living area.

The loft space has a queen bed and a small seating area. The loft is accessible via ladder stairs.

The property has extensive outdoor living space. The main level has a large deck looking over the beach and dunes. A large screened porch below the home adds even more space. Just off the screened porch is an outdoor shower and additional patio space. There is a large yard for games and a path through the dunes to the beach.

The property has a large driveway which fits several cars and even a boat trailer.

The home is located on Beachfront Drive in Sterling Shores Subdivision.  Sterling Shores and Beachfront Drive are surrounded by Matagorda Bay Nature Park. Matagorda Bay Nature Park is a 1,600-acre park and preserve on the Matagorda Peninsula where the original channel of the Texas Colorado River meets the Gulf of Mexico. The park has about 2 miles of Gulf of Mexico beachfront and 2 miles river frontage with hundreds of acres of coastal marshes and dunes. It is one of the best birding areas in the nation.  The entrance to the subdivision is across from the park’s Natural Science Center, which offers a wide range of recreation activities including mini golf, kayaking and guided adventure tours.

NO SMOKING.  NO PETS.  Entrance to the home is upstairs; the loft is up a very steep ladder staircase.  Due to the home’s architecture, the house is not handicap accessible. Children must be accompanied by an adult on all stairs, on the deck, and in the loft.  Please review House Rules.
